About Wasyugama

At Wasyugama, we crush raw Bizen clay, knead it by hand, and carefully shape each piece before loading it into the kiln.
The wood firing lasts about eight days, creating natural patterns and colors born from the dialogue between earth and flame — no two pieces are ever the same.
We cherish the subtle lines and forms that emerge through the rhythm of handwork,
and strive to create pieces that blend gently into modern life, bringing a quiet sense of richness to those who use them.
